Progress Report  and gift sewwing  ..Ho,Ho,Ho ...

 Well as far as sewwing for myself goes
1.Cream -ivory ruana-poncho turning into a sweater dress = no progress.
2.Took apart 5 pairs of old flare jeans for useable fabric and notions some thoughts about making a jean shirt/jacket  maybe.
3.Took out shoulder pads from a microfiber swirl(rust ,cream,navy)print jacket
4.Took off ruffle from brown/tan mesh shirt -like the cleaner look and may(probably will ) do the same to the tealblue/blackbrown version.
5.Removed ratty tassel ties from white/brown/woodbine peasant blouse ,sewwed opening together and put buttons at the join spot .
6.Hemmed up new multicolor plaid pants and took in the waist.(worn to work already )
7.Fixed back-of-neck seam on a dark green lightweight cardigan.
8.Made a thrifted rayon tank dress into a long infinity scarf.
9.Cut out another HP cowlneck top
10.Tried to trim a sweater with old pleather trim (fail so far ,must redo)
11.Removed sleeves from rust striped linen shirt
12.Picked off foofoo decoration off cream tee(should be useable now)
13 .Picked off bling that was coming off in spots anyway from a pair of jeans back pockets-much better less potential embarassment(pun semi intended)

For others
1.hemmed up Patrice's Old Navy Jeans
2.cut out a HP cowlneck top for Jenn
3.cut out Pj bottoms for Dad and RZS
4.made a teeshirt scarf for Mom

Seriously NEED to get the holiday gift sewwing done as hours for work have been EXTREMELY low and funds will not be there for shopping.
Five hours for the WHOLE WEEK???
Grrr.
Hope everyone likes what they get. They can't return it after all..
